Evening Engagements

I totally blew it on this shoot. I got there in the perfect evening sunlight only to realize my battery was still at work charging (*what kind of photographer goes to take pictures without a battery!? Stupid Alaina...) and then by the time I returned it got dark SO fast that I broke every photography rule I know (not that I know a lot of rules, but I know I broke the principals re: light, at least) and so you can tell some of these shots are obviously not the best quality, being that we took them in the DARK. A real photographer would call them "blown".... I think I will call them "artistic."

I lay awake at night wondering when the world will catch on that I don't know what I'm doing half the time.

But luckily I still get happy with the end results.

Alaina-
Wow! If this is your "I'm not reeeally a photographer" work, I'm excited to see the wedding photos.

Alaina-
Once again you produce gold. I think I shall call you Midas or Rumpelstiltskin. Thank you for taking the time to capture this memory for our family. Your talent is amazing!
