Extravaganza

On this afternoon we had blistering sun, then wind, then rain, then back to sun. It made for quite a few ligthing options - we have tons of great shots! This family proves that being photogenic must run in the genes. The highlight of this day was the passionate picture contest :)

This was family reunion extravaganza, and there were over a thousand photos, narrowed down to 250+, that I've been plugging away on... Here are a few randoms I love sofar. They are such a photogenic family!

Flautist? or Flutist?

Google actually didn't help me on which word is proper.

Once upon a time I had an amazing roommate I affectionally called Lizzard. She was an amazing flautist (flutist?) even then, and now she is official - her first cd of inspirational flute music comes out shortly. I feel honored to help her create photos for her cd cover, insert, and webpage.

Family!

Groups like this are a riot - today I was congratulated on "herding goldfish." I've been complimented on my ability to herd kittens before, herding goldfish gives new visual images of what these fun family shoots are like!

My favorite are the headshots of the grandkids. (Though that men's behind shot is hard to beat...! ;)
